To Graeme Attey:

Dear Graeme

I have been following the evolution of your wind generators, hoping they would soon be on the market. You have generated a lot of interest and many are asking questions. I see they are now answered!

1st of all special thanks to you for providing me opportunity of posting a comment. Actually these comments are a great source of increasing our knowledge because different people have different ideas and all of your products are very innovative. I like your product line and width. I am post graduate in IT and HR. These days I am doing preparation of different online certifications and I found linux+ is the best helping source which is providing 100% authentic material. I also spend my extra time in surfing internet, listening music and playing games. After my exams I would like to join your group

Where is Graeme today?

In 07 I read bout Graeme's wind turbines Where are they today?

Horizontal wind turbine

The main issue with a horizontally oriented wind turbine is that the efficiency would only be relatively high if it is fixed at 90 degrees to the prevailing wind, it would probably be best to work on a wind turbine rotating about a vertical axis.

WINDpod

I recieved an email from Graeme Attey today (11/08/2008) with an update on the WINDpod..."Tests completed recently at the UWA (University of Western Australia) of our most recent pre- production turbine have been extremely encouraging. A 0.435m diameter 'tube' of 2.2m length produces 73 Watts in 15 knots of wind, 173 Watts in 20 knots and 338 Watts in 25 knots. Three of these modules would supply 1kW (a typical house power consumption) in these conditions and we expect to sell them for approximately $1,500 each.
We are currently setting up for production late this year."

What is his email address? I

What is his email address? I believe the more emails he (they) receive the better.

The Attey horizontal wind turbine

This is good news! The figures are just what we technical people like to ponder.
