Aboriginal Sovereignty Day Poster

The Sovereignty Day Poster authorised by the Aboriginal Tent Embassy is attached for distribution and use.

"The new poster extends an invitation to stay there at the Tent Embassy till Tuesday, February 6th, to prepare actions for the opening of Parliament 2007.
It has been stressed that drugs and alcohol not be brought onto the site and to support and respect the Aboriginal agenda."
Benny Zable

"For peaceful coexistence...
- end genocide
- stop deaths in custody
- no more uranium mining
- no nuclear waste dumps
- reparation
- black unity
- land rights
- sovereign governance
- join this peoples movement
... Plan for the opening of Parliament on Feb 6th
If you support these initiatives, come. Your support is welcome and needed."

calling on John Howard for justice,
calling on John Howard to head the wisdom of Australian Aboriginal Elders:
- "the poison, leave it"

"goin on a peace walk...

all the way ... to the Tent Embassy"
*boom* *boom* *boom*
---------------------------
an exprience of a lifetime.
again.
tears still flow...

thank you everyone who helped us to get there.
we love you all deeply.

In solidarity with the pain that my soul now feels ...
and in acknowledgment of the pain of the elder speakers at the Embassy,
and in unity and solidarity with their stuggle,
with the deepest respect,
and acknowledgement of the courage.

...and in Rememberance of the many generations of Indigenous Australians who have lost their lives through the illegal English Invasion and Occupation.

In acknowlegement that this land was never "Mother England's"... it always was, and always will be, Aboriginal land.

In acknowledgement that true justice must prevail ... in the granting of Soverignty BACK to the Aboriginal People of Australia.

we must fight with the STRONGEST weapon...

the weapon of unity.
in solidarity for justice,
in honesty
and for the truth.

and then, and only then, can we see an end to this government's war on mankind's very existance.

I hope to upload some home made video footage of the cerermony and march soon.

I will write more when i am able.
