hey folks,

I've got a bunch of shows coming up. maybe stick this list on your
fridge so you can remember what's coming in the next few weeks..
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sun 21st Oct - Indi Bar Scarborough - w- Nathan Kaye (NSW)(I'm on 630-730pm)

Sat 27th Oct - Tanglehead Albany - with the Spirits (9-12pm)

Thurs 1st Nov - Clancy's Freo - with the Spirits (from 9 onw) with the Vanity Project which is a band put together for guitarist Chris' brother Derek's 40th birthday - should be a lot of fun

Sat 10th Nov - Swan Acoustic Lounge - with Carra (NSW) and Aiden Varro and Lydian's Tilt (I'm on at 10pm)

Tues 13th Nov - Mojos Freo - duo with Clem - supporting
Chris Matthews
Clem and I haven't played together for way too long and this should be a real highlight.

Sat 17th Nov - Cape Wine Bar Dunsborough w- Chris
Matthews (VIC)
Chris Matthews is the hardest working muso I know; the guy is incredible playing over 200 shows a year touring perpetually.

Sun 18th Nov - Caves House Yallingup with Chris Matthews
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so with that out of the way, a quick thanks to all those who replied to my long digest about travelling through north america. the landscape and the beauty of the place had me writing a bunch of new songs and while I felt like I could have travelled and gigged endlessly in Canada it's actually not too shabby to be home again
with a healthy slew of gigs lined up.

the touring thing is interesting. this month I'm playing with both Nathan Kaye and Chris Matthews. with either of these fellas you never know where you'll find them when you drop them a line.

Nathan sent me an email from Hawaii when I was in Canada while Chris was emailing me from El Questro in the Kimberley on his way down the west coast of Aus.

it's healthy though. when you're touring, what you take, you live with and the other stuff is just left behind. when your life has become bigger than you and has
developed its own momentum it's a welcome antidote. liberating.

enjoy. hope to cross paths some time soon.

Hi Simon :-)

Refresh: we met when you helped fix my tire in Sydney. You signed our little petition.
Election mode is happening as you know i guess...
Nat and I have been working hard packing citrus fruit.
the fruit has just run out so Nat's up on Magnetic Island visiting her dad and saying hi to old friends, partying too hard, i hear.

I've just refreshed my website. http://globalclimatechangeaction.org
I guess i am a bit excited and obsessed at the moment.

I'm only 50 signatures off my (revised) online target now. I'm sure we will get there by election day. I am hoping to come down to Sydney soon, collecting signatures again
:-)
Maybe i will time it right and catch you somewhere.
That would be cool!

Anyhows, your life sounds fun atm. Enjoy.

Warm regards
Anne
